Terms and Conditions

Scope of Work

Continuous Plumbing agrees to provide plumbing services as outlined in the agreed-upon project proposal, service quote, or contract. Any additional work requested by the client that falls outside the original scope will be subject to extra charges. Such variations must be confirmed in writing and approved by both parties before commencement.

Payment Terms

Payment for plumbing services is due as specified in the proposal or invoice. A deposit may be required to confirm a booking, with the remaining balance payable upon completion of the work. Failure to make payment within the agreed timeframe may result in suspension of services, late fees, or recovery action.

Cancellation Policy

If the client cancels a scheduled job, any deposit paid may be forfeited to cover costs incurred. Cancellations must be made in writing at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment to avoid additional fees. For larger projects, written notice must be provided no later than 14 days before the agreed start date.

Change Orders

Any changes to the agreed scope of work must be requested in writing and approved by Continuous Plumbing. Additional charges may apply, and adjustments to the project timeline will be communicated promptly. Verbal instructions will not be considered binding until confirmed in writing.

Materials and Equipment

Continuous Plumbing will supply all necessary tools, fittings, and materials required to complete the plumbing work, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Where the client supplies materials, Continuous Plumbing is not responsible for defects, delays, or issues arising from those materials.

Property Access

The client agrees to provide safe and reasonable access to the property for Continuous Plumbing staff during scheduled work hours. If access is restricted or unsafe, the plumber may reschedule the appointment and additional call-out fees may apply. Continuous Plumbing will not be held liable for delays caused by lack of access.

Insurance and Liability

Continuous Plumbing holds current public liability insurance and complies with all industry regulations. While all care is taken to prevent damage, the client acknowledges that plumbing work can involve inherent risks. Continuous Plumbing is not liable for pre-existing issues, structural weaknesses, or consequential damage resulting from necessary work performed.

Completion and Acceptance

Upon completion, the client will have the opportunity to inspect the work. Any concerns or minor defects must be raised within seven (7) days of completion. Continuous Plumbing will address any warranted touch-ups or corrections promptly. Once approved, the work will be considered accepted and complete.

Warranties

Continuous Plumbing provides workmanship warranties in accordance with Australian Standards and the Plumbing Industry Commission’s regulations. Product warranties are subject to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions. Warranty claims do not cover misuse, neglect, or alterations made by unauthorised persons.

Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution through direct communication and negotiation. If no resolution is reached, the matter may be referred to mediation before proceeding to formal arbitration or legal action.

By engaging Continuous Plumbing services, the client acknowledges and agrees to abide by these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions may be updated or amended by Continuous Plumbing at any time.
